 | Brighton Middle School Students Engineer & Sail Canoes (King 5 TV) Middle school math students at Brighton School took their full sized cardboard canoes they designed and engineered and set sail on Lake Washington. Students sailed their boats through a set of relay races to determine the sea-worthiness and tracking of their canoes. Using paddles they have also designed and built, students paddled their crafts through the lake course in an attempt to win the Best Canoe award. KING 5 TV - June 15, 2010 |

Brighton Students Package Food for Needy Families (KING 5 TV) LYNNWOOD, Wash. - In March, Brighton students raised over $2000 to buy ingrediants to create packaged meals for needy families.Then on April 2nd Brighton students joined with Chidren of the Nations to assemble the ingredients into packaged meals to be shipped to Africa.
